October 11, 2025 my wife and I visited Norma's per my sons recommendation. He patronizes this location several times a month with his son, our grandson. We arrived about noonish and was greated rather quickly. Shortly our drink orders were taken. My wife and I ordered the same thing. We both got the cheeseburger and the fries. The burger was very good with all the fixing's we asked for. For the size of the burger (no complaints on this dude) I wished there were either 2 tomato slices or one big one to cover the girth of this burger. The burger had great flavor. The fries...I gotta say, they were fantastic. Is that a big deal? Well, some burger joints that specialize in just burgers, have fries that are mediocre. I bet these fries would make great chili fries as the fries had enough salt and the right crispy texture. Is that an order that can be made here at Norma's? Dunno. If it is, count me as a customer. Drinks were ready for both of us. My suggestion, go to a stronger tea. It wasn't weak but dang close. Our waitress was very cordial and expeditious with our orders. What we didn't know we came in when closing time was around the corner. Knowing this after realizing what the time was, my wife and I hurried a bit so we didn't keep the staff waiting way past closing. To our waitress credit, not once did she mention the Diner was closing soon. Kudos to you! Definitely coming back to have the breakfast. That's what our son and grandson do each time they visit. Norma's, thank you for a great cheese burger and spectacular fries. Worth the money indeed. In closed are a couple of pics. Again, thank you!

Good priced food, cooked my eggs exactly the way I like them! Biscuits and gravy were delicious! Didn't feel rushed, and customer service was good! Will be back for breakfast again!

Excellent experience! The food is outta site! Great homemade fresh hot delicious dishes! Took the back roads from Branson and found Norma's in Joplin. I'm so glad we did. The corned beef hash was perfect, the eggs also cooked perfectly. Definitely worth the trip no matter which direction you're coming from. Definitely 5 Stars!!!

I can’t say enough good things about this quaint diner! The coffee was delicious, syrup warm and the butter wasn’t cold. I didn’t have to ask for anything. The service was quick, tables were cleaned off timely, waitresses friendly and peppy. Acted like they were happy to be there and working. Food was scrumptious and it was a warm and inviting atmosphere. I’d go every Saturday morning if I lived in Joplin!
